Creative Bridges, LLC is an Art Therapy and Mental Health practice in Amesbury, Massachusetts which provides
Mental Health Counseling and creative support through the use of Art Therapy. Client centered and strength based clinical support is created through the connection and collaboration with clients, families and collaterals.
ChildrenChildren often independently express themselves through the use of creativity and play. Expressive arts therapy is used as a tool to communicate and collaborate with clients. Often art making serves to decrease anxiety, increase self-esteem and increase communication. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. If needed, collaboration with parents/guardians, schools, pediatricians and other collaterals is ongoing. Individual and small group art, play and expressive therapy sessions are available.

AdolescentsAdolescence is often a time of managing peer interactions, balancing an increase in academic work, and learning to navigate life's ups and downs. Through the use of both traditional therapy alongside art/expressive therapy, teens can engage in increased self-advocacy, self-esteem building and managing stress. Increasing independence and managing self-help skills can provide engaging support in which to help teens better navigate these sometime challenging few years.

Life changes, work stressors, anxiety, depression, social expectations, balancing family life.....all a part of managing life as adults. Expressing oneself through the collaborative use of art and/or more traditional verbal therapy can serve to ease the overwhelming feelings of managing daily life. Finding a safe place to reflect and making the time to engage and process can help to alleviate challenges.
